We provide a variety of inspections, testing, and certification for complete OSHA/ANSI compliance. We have portable vertical and horizontal proof testers equipped with computerized load cells for in-plant use. Our portable vertical testers can be set up at your location for proof testing. Our portable horizontal tester is located in our mobile testing bus.

On-Site Inspection, Testing & Certification

At NIS, we offer thorough on-site inspection, testing, and certification services designed to maintain compliance and enhance operational efficiency. Our team can test a wide range of equipment, including hoists, cranes, lifting devices, slings, material handling equipment, and rigging equipment, delivering our expertise directly to your location.

Equipped with mobile work labs in custom trailers, we operate fully independently, including our own power supply, allowing us to integrate seamlessly into your production process and minimize disruptions.

Asset Management & Programs

With our cutting-edge asset management system, offered for an annual service fee, you gain real-time visibility and 24/7, 365 access to your asset database with any internet-enabled device. Perfect for those misplaced inventory and inspection records that you just cannot find. Our innovative Blue Bin program ensures your operations remain uninterrupted by addressing equipment issues between scheduled inspections. This system enables efficient replenishment, repair, and maintenance, all without affecting your workflow.

Blue Bin Program (B.L.U.E. - Bad, Late, and Uninspected Equipment)

The NIS Blue Bin Program simplifies your equipment management, allowing for smooth operations between inspections. Just place any overdue items in the Blue Bin, tag them, and inform us when it’s full. NIS will pick it up at no cost, conduct inspections, and provide a detailed report and quote for any necessary repairs or replacements. You have the flexibility to approve repairs quickly or opt to have items returned as-is with an inspection fee if you decline. This program effectively minimizes downtime, enhances safety, and keeps your equipment in prime condition without disrupting your ongoing activities.

When removing your equipment from its current location for testing isn’t practical, we bring the testing to you. Our mobile unit and test weights provide on-site, location-based testing, ensuring minimal disruption to your operations.
