6x19 Classification

The 6×19 wire rope is the most commonly used type, suitable for a wide range of applications, particularly those with lighter duty cycles. It is made with an independent wire rope core, surrounded by six strands of wires that are helically wound around the core.

6×36 Classification

This classification is generally used in more demanding applications with heavier duty cycles and offers a longer service life. These ropes come in various constructions, with strands ranging from 6 up to 34 in a single rope. They are often swaged or compacted and may possess rotation-resistant characteristics.
